Meet the Owners

Cory and Laurie Cochran are the husband and wife team behind Cochran Collision.

Cory was born and raised in Sutton, NH. His father worked as an auto body technician at the former shop, Lauridsen Auto Body. Following in his footsteps, Cory joined Lauridsen’s full-time after high school graduation. He raised his three children in the area and became heavily involved in the community through volunteering at Musterfield Farm and coaching his children in little league, soccer, and Kearsarge youth hockey. Cory joined the Sutton Volunteer Fire Department at age eighteen and has now been the Chief for the last ten years. Cory continued to work at the shop for the last 34 years until purchasing the business in January of 2023 when the former owners were ready to retire.

Laurie, originally from Lexington, MA, came to the area as a child; learning to ski at King Ridge, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. Eventually, she moved to New Hampshire permanently in 2002 with the younger five of her seven children. Laurie enjoys gardening and spending time in the outdoors, and now manages the front office of the shop.

Cory and Laurie will say they met through their children, and the many school sports they played at Kearsarge. After ten years together, they finally married in August 2022 and now boast a wonderful family of ten children, their significant others, and so far, five grandchildren. They continue to call Sutton, NH their home and are forever improving their beautiful home and gardens.

We are grateful for this opportunity to serve the community and continue the forty-eight years of great service.
